Palmerston Cricket Club

Cricket

Palmerston is a satellite City situated on the cusp of the rural area, approximately 20km from the Northern Territory capital, Darwin. The Palmerston Cricket Club was formed during the early years of the City and has grown as the City of Palmerston has grown.

Palmerston Cricket Club participates in the Darwin & Districts Cricket Competition which is held in the Dry Season from April to September each year. Palmerston Cricket Club caters for all levels of cricket; we have teams in all senior grades along with the highest junior participation rate in the competition. This gives the sense of a strong family feeling around the club as we are an integral part of the local community.

The club is located at our home ground of Woodroffe Oval, in the suburb of Woodroffe. The facilities at Power Park include the oval with a turf square, training nets, our club rooms, visitors changing room and the club bar. We are continually working to upgrade our facilities, but without the ongoing support of sponsors we will not be able to achieve this.
